Lakeside Organic Gardens Unveils New Cooler | Produce News

As it heads to the Organic Produce Summit in July, Lakeside Organic Gardens will be highlighting its new cooler, which will be opening the same month.
“It’s triple the size of our old cooler and that’s exciting news for us,” said Dick Peixoto, owner of the Watsonville, CA-based company. “It’s designed with solar and recycled water and all the bells and whistles that a new cooler should have.”
The new cooler offers 55,000 square feet of cold space and another 100,000 square feet of covers and offices. That’s a big difference from its current cooler, which is just 17,000 square feet.
